Digital prospecting for clients is an increasingly crowded space

Prospecting is the process of trying to get some one to notice you so you can sell them something. 

With the ubiquity of web browsers, cloud based mail boxes and social media there is an incredible amount of opportunity to try to attract eyeballs. Having got the eyeballs the next step is to draw them into your sales process and keep them there. 

It all Sounds easy but the reality is that people can skip out quicker than google change their algorithm.  So that means the process needs to be very easy for the prospect to keep on the sales path and there needs to be breadcrumbs along the way to keep rewarding their engagement.

In summary, if you are intending to go down the path of digital marketing its important to be realistic what you are getting your self into. Because like so much else a half-hearted job might be cheap but it is probably only a distraction.
